I got started on this when my oldest brother, older sister and I were trying to get all our maternal and paternal family history straight. All the people that really knew the history are deceased. So it's been a frustrating, at times, but very informative search of various ancestry sites. None of us ever new our maternal grandfather served in the 7th Infantry during the Spanish American War. Many other interesting tidbits have also been discovered.
I'm vowing to only put information on any of the sites I manage that can be readily confirmed. If not, then I won't change the information that's there.

Basic families I'm interested in, related to, are:
Schwartz, Schropp, Kipp, Cohen, Fitzpatrick, Periat, Hancock
Fliehler, Mahren and Wallace.

( Radioman Chief Petty Officer)

Update: Jan 2023
I've pretty much finished with my family and friends and moved them all to a separate account to lay quietly with little or no edits being done.
Now I'm taking on 'abandoned' memorials and attempting to piece together entire families. When I start working on 1 memorial I just continue trying to link all the parents, children etc, and add as much documentation as I can. I believe the documentation is the heart of someones life on this planet.
