Bio

I am a retired construction professional splitting my time between residences in Camden Maine, and Weeki Wachee Florida. I am interested in preserving as much of my families memories as I can on the FindAGrave website and personalize them as much as is prudent to do.

My parents were married in Cowansville Quebec in 1952 where they met while working. Their families were poor working people who struggled through extreme hardships unimaginable in our world today. My oldest surviving aunt who will turn 100 years old in December 2020 can recall events from her life growing up in very rural Quebec that could be the stuff of movies today.

Some of the stories seem funny today, but I'm sure at the time life was anything but fun and not much better than a struggle for families to survive. They and their stories should always be remembered.
