I am primarily interested in information gleaned for my extended family history research but along the journey am happy to add in new memorials as I visit cemeteries and take a few extra photos of gravestones in those cemeteries. In adding these new memorials I attempt where possible to verify the information provided on the gravestones with official records so that information can be as accurate as possible. Of course historical official records are only as good as the individuals who recorded them so there may be errors along the way. It is always a delight to me when I come across extra information for my family history research because someone out there has added in a memorial which can provide me with said information. In adding memorials of non family members I hope I am providing a fellow family history researcher with assistance in their journey in the future.
