Hi!

Feel free to use any photos I take/upload to Find A Grave for your non-commercial and/or genealogical purposes. No attribution is necessary. I feel it is disgraceful to copyright (or make money from) the images of graves and public records.

When I post photos of obituaries, death certificates, and other documents, I put them in the "other" category so that portrait, grave, and family photos take precedence for the main memorial photo. I believe this policy helps the camera volunteers find the graves and provides valuable bio information.

I'm using Find A Grave to proof out/source my family genealogies, which are being done at FamilySearch.org. You can view the following genealogies there (it requires an account, but it's free).

For my mother's family names (Pennsylvania):
Ackerman, Freshwater, Franke, Goehring, McClester, Shaffer, and Young.

My grandmother left me many paper genealogies, funeral notices, and photos, for the above. Many have no dates or sources. (I am willing to share the scanned copies).
The major documents I'm working from:
Freshwater Genealogy (book)
Goehring Family Genealogy 1911
McClester Family Genealogy (Mimeo)
Shaffer Family Genealogy (Carbon copy)
Young Family Genealogy (Hand Written)

These can be viewed at:
https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/LR3B-ZWD

My father's family names (Louisiana):
Viosca, Baudean, Bischoff, Percy, Weissenburger, etal.

My granduncle, Dalton Woolverton, created a fully sourced genealogy for the Viosca lineage.

These can be viewed at:
https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/K88S-D28

Many family members have let me scan in their old family photo albums.

I also work on genealogies for:
Carlsten/Siversen (Minnesota) visible here:
https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/LB6L-D9F
https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/LB6L-PZG
Giroir/Naquin/Segrue/Beard (Louisiana) visible here:
https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/G35P-V2H
https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/G3Y2-H5W

I also have hundreds of unidentified, very old, photos and tintypes that I hope to identify, we'll see...
