My interest in geneology started when my dad and I went through all of his geneology records, which included German ancestors who migrated to the US in the 1880s. When I was young, we often went to the Wharton, Ohio cemetery where his relatives were buried. I also spent lots of time as a kid wandering through a cemetery close to my maternal grandmother's house in Akron, Ohio.
