Bio

I have been interested in family history since I was a child, but really started digging into my family tree in 2019. Find A Grave has been extremely helpful in conjunction with ancestry.com and I suggest edits to Find A Grave as I come across discrepancies. I am always willing to share sources and discuss family connections. Please contact via message function.

I started fulfilling photo requests in summer 2020 and have found it to be such a rewarding experience. My main focus has been Mount Hope Cemetery in Rochester, NY. I love looking through available records to devise a plan to fulfill photo requests for each visit. Every time I fulfill a request, I also try to photograph plots in the surrounding area. There are so many burials at Mount Hope that it may seem like it will never be completely photographed, but the only way to get there is one grave at a time. I'm so touched when requesters share their stories with me. Every photo taken preserves a little piece of history that may be meaningful to someone else. What a gift to be able to share, just because I happen to live nearby!

Please feel free to save any of my photos for personal use. If you think one of my photos would be appropriate for a different memorial, please contact me and I will add it. I am willing to transfer ownership of memorials of non-relatives. Please make transfer requests using the Suggest Edits function as recommended by Find a Grave. Thank you.
