I love history and tracing my family roots. My maternal grandma was a Carlssen from Denmark, maternal grandpa was a Talbot from Ireland (by way of Scotland). My paternal grandpa was a Herrmann form Germany (by way of Canada), and my paternal grandma was a Finn from Ireland. My spouse has family that has relations to Terpenings from the Netherlands, Herricks from Wales(?), Ramos from Mexico, and the Holberts (england or Germany). I'm currently researching as much as possible so that our kids can know where they came from.
