My husband is a third generation member of Sacred Heart Catholic church in Early, Iowa. Two years ago I volunteered to make a new map of our cemetery. Well, that led myself and my husband into surveying the entire cemetery a year later. Yes, I did make a new map. I have learned much, and continue to learn about family histories of those interred here. I am honored to have been named the sexton of our cemetery.
