I discovered this site in May 2020 from a Facebook group I’m in: Illinois Abandoned Images. The post was of a hidden graveyard with over 25 records, last burial ~1980s. One of them was registered with this site and had old and new photos (the gravestone had been replaced as the old one was in pieces). I thought this was a beautiful site because of the virtual memorials: being able to add photos and flowers.. and all added by the community! So I created my profile.. in hopes that what I post will one day help someone in the search for their ancestors.

In addition to entering family and friends, I am volunteering as a helper in the Chicago, IL, USA area.
If I have entered your loved one on here and you would like to take over their memorial, please message me to let me know that you want ownership — and I will gladly transfer it to you.
Likewise, if you discover your loved one here and you don't want them shown on this site, let me know and I will delete them.

If anyone has additional information, let me know by the edit button and I will enter any additional information.
