I'm doing a little point and shoot photography in Holbeck Cemetery Leeds UK, nothing fancy. Maybe I will find your relatives? who knows? I am doing my best uploading photos to records. Please be patient as I am hampered by lots of ivy, missing , damaged, and weathered headstones.
I have access to maps of the area so I can help locate graves in Holbeck Cemetery. I know my way around pretty well now. There are over 300 requests for photos on system, I'm going to work through these over the coming months.
I do not charge for fuel, my time or to use my photos so feel free to use these as you like.
I have hundreds of files/photos to upload. I am transcribing/ correcting and adding information and plot numbers to existing memorials also and and reporting duplication of records which is slowing the uploads somewhat. (Using information from burial records).
I am often asked: how do I recognise if the memorial I am looking at is my relative, as it holds no address ? So I try to add any information I can find for a plot.
I'm happy to transfer memorials no matter your relationship to the memorial. I have no interest in managing individual memorials. I am interested in the people so if I can add a bio on a memorial I will try and do so. If I ask for a memorial to be transferred to add a bio, I will send this back to you.
