Bio

I have always been interested in my family history and those ancestors I am descended from. When I retired in 2017, I began searching to find all I could find about them. My sisters and I have gone cemetery hunting in fields, wooded areas, even one down a logging road then through the woods to find my great great grandfather's grave. It has been an adventure that I can't seem to stop. Two weeks ago I went to 5 cemeteries in NY looking for my husband's family, one in 5" of snow. It is important to me that their lives are remembered because in my case, my Dad's family, the Tarkingtons, came to this country in the early 1600's and my Mother's side, the Butlers, was two of the hero's of the Alamo. This is a full time adventure that I love. Thanks to all the contributors.
