Bio

Hello, my name is Michele and I’m 55. The profile picture is of my parents who are deceased.
I recently just lost my father, Martin Dwayne Hallock, went by Dwayne, (August 21, 2020) and was wondering where some of my ancestors were buried. I was looking for a great aunts burial site and came across FindaGrave and have now spent a couple hours on it. My older sister, Debbie was the genealogist in the family (she passed away November 2018) Last year my younger sister and I stopped at the Floral Hill Cemetery by Hoopeston IL, to visit my grandparents (Martin and Alta Clute Hallock) and look for other family sites. Over the last year I was going through my fathers things with him and started to learn more about his side of the family and my distant relatives. It was nice to have that time with him. My immediate family has lost many over the last 6 years. First my mother, Christine Mear Hallock April 2014, then my fathers brother, Donald Hallock, my sister Deborah Hallock Lubbert and now my father. My sister Mary and I do not have children and my older sister did not as well so the Hallock side of the family is becoming smaller and smaller. I started searching for family so that no one will be forgotten.
