I am discovering as much as possible about my family roots.
There is a story behind every one of our ancestors lives and they deserve to be acknowledged and remembered.
I share my time between London and Chiang Mai.
My intention is to visit Australia where some of my ancestors lived, including my mother Marjorie Freeman in Coogee, Sydney 1920's - 1930's.
Marjorie is the daughter of Mark Freeman, whose mother was Hannah Jacobs (also known as Freeman and Klufeld). Hannah lived in Adelaide from 1906 to 1944) and was the licensee of several hotels during this time.
Hannah's 2nd husband Jacob Jacobs died in 1914.
Hannah was a remarkable person and with her 10 children she has left an enduring legacy in Australia.
I would be pleased to hear from anyone who is connected in some way, with any of these families.
