Note concerning Cyrillic Serbian headstone translations:
In some instances, there are variations of the Anglicized versions of the surnames. Where practical, I use the most logical letter to letter translation, unless the descendants or other relatives use a different spelling in the corresponding cemetery. If that alternate spelling is more prevalent, I use it instead of the literal translation for the sake of consistency.

Also note that occasionally you will see what looks to be a squared off M on headstones. In Cyrillic Serbian, a T is the same as in English. On some headstones the carver used this alternate form of T which is more reminiscent of a Russian or Bulgarian Cyrillic T, that looks like an M. I dont have this "M" version of a T on my keyboard so i generally use the T character in the Cyrillic spelling.

Death Certificates - while some people discourage adding death certificates to memorials, since they are a matter of public record and often contain important information, I encourage adding them to any memorials I maintain.
