What can I say about me that hasn’t already been said? Oh, I know! Something nice.

I love the history and genealogy of East Tennessee and Southeastern Kentucky.
I promise to the best of my ability and knowledge that ALL information I upload to this site will be True and Correct. Though I only plan to upload a few bits concerning family. If you find fallacy in my research, grammar, or even if you just feel something should be worded just a tad differently —please don’t hesitate to contact me.

On the personal side, I have been a long time History buff and love stories that are out of the ordinary, especially the local folklore.

Local subjects I like speaking upon?
Jerome “Rome” Boyatt: Barney Graham: George, Floyd, or William “Willie” Winningham: The Cumberland River Coal War. I also enjoy learning about Pall Mall, Tennessee and Three Forks of the Wolf River Valley. Calvin “Cal” Logston is another subject I have spent a great deal of study upon.

If you have a good story that is History related feel free to share it —unless you don’t want it broadcast, because the things I hear and read about do end up in books (Sorry, just had to throw a plug in,,,”HighWinds” by J.H. Gason).

In conclusion I just want to thank everyone who participates in chronicling and cataloging this areas tombstones and history. You just don’t know how much it means to me to know there are others out there with a passion for knowing the past and wanting to preserve proper records for our descendants.
“Dear Heavenly Father,
look over the Bone Collectors as they go about their Duties. Father I call them Bone-Collectors as they are the people who Collect the data and the details to help build the strong bones of a healthy ancestral tree. Look over them and guide them to correct locations and safe surroundings. Lord, step with them as they walk through the cemeteries and guide their way.
Father, it is with fear and trembling for the welfare of my fellow Bone Collectors that I humbly approach you this day in the Shadow of Jesus to ask for your ordination of these things.
In the name of Christ my Savior. Amen”
