My parents are Joseph Raymond Marquis and Laurette (née Lorette) Clémentine Rochon Marquis. Married for 47 years and an active Catholic, my hobbies include hiking, languages, study techniques and their application.

Having earned a B.A. and a Thesis Masters Degree in American and European history, I have also taught on the college level. In addition to being a professional speaker and voice-over artist, my book Grade Grabbers: Improve You G.P.A. was written in order to encourage learning performance, based on my experiences as a student, graduate research assistant and educator.

Our goldendoodle keeps things both interesting and happy, each day.
