I stumbled on to Find a Grave in March and have been busy reading hardcopy obituaries, editing and or creating pages for my family and related in-laws.

My sister Carolyn has the Ancestry account and I maintain birth certificates, death certificates, military records, obituaries, news articles, etc. We started our research about 2005 and have become family historians. We have hooked up with other family members to explore both sides of my parents (Willie McMillian and Essie Eulla McCall). While there were only four children in dad's family, there were 17 plus one adopted on mom's side of the family. So I am using mom's family as a base and gathering marriages and in-laws related to the 18.

I am retired from Dept of Treasury-IRS and was primary care giver of mom, Essie until her death in November 2020. I am looking forward to creating my binder of grave memorials to go along with other family history.

I was born in Raeford, North Carolina and was raised in Newark, New Jersey. I spent 26 "good" years in the military, mostly AF Reserves.
I moved back to Raeford in August 2009.

So many have done so much work and for that I am thankful. I think I can update the memorials with more personal data for our future generations to review.
