I am what is called a FOUR STAR Mayflower Descendant, duly certified by the General Society of Mayflower Descendants in Plymouth. I have visited and inspected many of my east coast ancestors gravesites for Emerson, Macomber, Croswell, Cony, Berry, and Church. Likewise for my Meek family line coming out of Ohio, into Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma. I have all the genealogy files for my late uncle Colonel Maxwell Emerson who did intense research following his retirement from the U S Army in 1958 until his death in 1988. I have been actively involved with research and travel since 1998. My contributions are based on personal relations and/or hard documents including family photos covering at least four generations connected to pertinent grave sites. Col Emerson wrote the Allied Families portion of Some Descendants of Thomas Croswell and Allied Families in 1976 with extensive documentation by him and Volney Croswell who covered the Croswell family information.
