Please use the new "notes" section to inform me of the source of your suggested edit. I find it saves me a great deal of time when considering the edit. Thank you so much! Links to familysearch are the best for me as it is a free service.

I spend most of my Findagrave time documenting graves in Hillside, Illinois. If you would like the photo added to another memorial, please ask and I will add it. I do not mind if you use photos for your personal use elsewhere without asking.

I have begun using estimated birth years on my memorials. I wish there was a field to indicate that on the memorial, (a "circa" button would be great). I do look for actual dates in many sources, but many times the dates vary greatly and I am unable to find a definitive answer.

Another button I wish for is a "no marker" button. Although I edit photos to create a memorial photo, they are not actual markers. I do them because they do document the location and give a sense of space. However, I would like to be able to easily indicate the fact that it is a computer edited photo.

Finally and a new one, I agree with contributor 49582430, we need a "born as" field. Surnames have been changed over time but it is difficult to make that jump from the name on birth records to those in census, marriage... It is especially difficult when different branches changed them differently. Any little help we can give to those searching for their ancestors seems worthy.
