Bio

My name is Roxanne Anderson and I have been conducting a genealogy study on my family since 2006 because I believe it is essential to know more about who I am and from where I come. In doing so, I was able to more effectively influence my family and loved ones. Put another way, perhaps I will be able to have an impact on the people who I do not know, especially as it relates to scholarly research and development.
In other words, in my opinion, something just seemed strange/ peculiar so I decided to try to make some sense of it all and research the matter.

Being the case, here I am with my sleeves rolled up in an effort to uncover the the mysteries of my family for the betterment, love, and respect for thy self and my awesome family.

For example, I have learned in my family research, that I come from a long line of teachers, other educated people, and military veterans, which is really cool. I also found out that my family wrote several books that are housed in the Library of Congress. Also, I learned that one side of my family tree descended from Ware, Virginia which is a historical location that is approximately one hour away from the historical Jamestown, Virginia. The town of Jamestown was known for having the First enslaved Africans arrive in Jamestown, setting the stage for slavery in North America. I am very happy about what I have learned on my journey of family discovery.

Biography

At present, I am pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration, and a retired State of New Jersey government employee.

On the other hand, I am the CEO/Director of Anderson Agility. I am a Project Manager who works with midsize to large organizations to assist in transforming their business practices and outdated information technology (IT) systems because I know that organizations need to enhance their business practices from a global mindset. With an innovative project management team on their side, I am well versed in servant leadership. At scale, I am able to develop winning teams that include diversity, equity, and inclusion ideologies within the workplace.
