I am the 4th of 7 children born to Billy O. Fretwell and Vonscelle Thompson Fretwell.
I am the mother of 2 daughters and grandmother of 4 grandsons. I was born in Franklin County Alabama in 1959 and still reside there today and will until the Lord calls me home to be with him. I have lost 2 husbands to cancer. I was married to Greg Gandy for 31 years and in 2008 he passed away after a 7 year battle with colon cancer. Three years later in Oct. 2011, I married John Kimbrough. After 12 years marriage he too passed away on Oct. 10th, 2023, after a sudden diagnosis of cancer.
