1/29/2024. I was taught an important lesson today. As I went to a cemetery an hour one way from my house I was at first shocked that around 1500 requests had been flagged. Normally I am not one for flagging requests. But noticing how many requests now have the proper plot info and not having to aimlessly stroll around a 265 acre cemetery. The lesson learned is that if I am going to drive any distance. In my personal vehicle. On my personal time, digging out headstones (yes most headstones are buried in Detroit cemeteries) then anyone requesting can have the common decency to contact the office and get the plot information. Where I was once opposed to flagging anything. Now I am not opposed to it at all.
