My focus centers on creating a permanent, online, public archive using FindaGrave.com. The intention is to make genealogical relationships among particular branches of relatives, their biographical information and their photos available, at any time or place in the world, freely and without the requirement of paid subscriptions. This has been accomplished through requesting management of memorials; making hundreds of suggested edits; searching for and finding dozens of existing memorials; linking memorials through their parent's IDs; adding missing data, obituaries and other biographical notes; creating a handful of new memorials; and scanning and uploading hundreds of photos. My contributions are made possible by the extensive genealogical research, written history, collected records and photographs that were, not without irony, compiled by aunts, great aunts and grandmothers whose namesakes and identities are often lost in history.
