I've caught the Ancestry/family history bug and enjoy learning stories that have been hiding for decades along with solving family mysteries. It started in 2020 as I began scanning all of my photos for prosperity. As I inherited my paternal grandfather's albums starting in the 1920's to 1970's, the mass amount of albums of every imaginable size from my mom along with never ending files of loose photos and memorabilia from family gatherings, also old photos created by long past family members handed down as each person left this earth, and an Aunt finding a box of photo's from my maternal Grandma in her attic - its a treasure trove and feels never ending. What's the point of having all these photos if I don't know who these people are?

I'm lucky enough to still have my 80ish year old parents around to name the faces and tell the stories. We're originally from Chicago which I visit multiple times a year to see family and yes, visit cemeteries. Before I arrive my Aunts will ask about my list and begin mapping it all out for our shared adventure.

I'm happy to help anyone out with photos from cemeteries in Ventura County, California. Happy Hunting!!
