A few years ago my grandson asked me a few questions for a school project about our ancestors. Unable to answer all of his questions was when I decided to do a DNA test and join ancestry. It's been a fantastic journey since then. I've met so many wonderful relatives that I didn't know existed that helped with researching my personal and extended family history.
Find A Grave has also been a valuable asset. A good starting point for information. I noticed some of the memorials had family members listed. Parents-spouses-siblings-children. That's when I decided to join Find A Grave and add family members to my parents memorials and make any corrections if necessary. I didn't know at the time that I would start getting photo requests. I have been having fun ever since because I love photography and didn't realize how appreciative people would be when I would post a grave photo. I try to take the best possible pictures. The person that passed away deserves your best effort.
If you have additional information you wish to add to a memorial or are related to an individual and wish to take over management of them, feel free to contact me.
Please just ask me to remove my photo if you post a clearer one or if you just don't like a particular picture, obituary or anything else that I've added. I work for you. Only the person who posts the photo can remove it.
My only goal on Find A Grave is that everyone is remembered and no one is ever forgotten.
