Every family has a designated historian, and I am it. Half of my family tree in the United States goes back to the 1700s with the arrival of my ancestor who came here from Ireland, and there my paternal tribe began. My mother's family began with the arrival of ancestors who emigrated from Sweden o her dad's side, and Ireland on her mom's side, in the 1800s. I was born in California but now live in Kentucky.
