Bio

I am currently investigating my family members that have been added to find a grave, and adding photos and other info to help those who are interested get to know them better.
My paternal Grandfather (Frank O. Linden Jr.) was a partner at Cooks funeral home in Austin, Texas and was the son of F. O. Linden Sr., a Swedish immigrant to Texas, his mother (Jenny) was from the Dahlin family who came from Sweden one generation prior.
My paternal grandmother's family includes Spencers from Bell County, Texas, and Hoods, including Confederate civil war veteran Anderson B. Hood from Independence, Texas who is a distant relative of John Bell Hood, commander of "Hood's Texas Brigade" and the namesake of Fort Hood military reservation in Coryell, and Bell counties.

My Maternal Grandmother is the granddaughter of Martin Holloway, a Confederate veteran of the civil war who came to Texas with most of his children, settling in Burnet County, Texas after the war. He returned to North Carolina at least two times to retrieve his 3 adult children who had stayed behind, and returned the second time having persuaded his widowed daughter, and one of two sons to return with him to their new home in Texas.
