Born and raised in Dallas, TX. I attended Dallas and Duncanville public schools, then University of Texas at Arlington, where I majored in foreign language (German). My mom was a native of Bischofshofen, Austria. She met an American soldier and they married and came to the U.S. My mom later remarried and I was adopted by her new husband (miss you, Daddy). When I was young I got to travel a lot in Europe and spent some summers there. I was an office worker some years and later a manager at various companies. I'm married and have two grown daughters and one granddaughter. I got into this whole process because I wanted family members and friends to be remembered, and for the information I enter to be helpful to others who are also doing family research.
