*To all the FaG members who have created and maintained memorials, and who have allowed Andy and me to have family members' pages for safe keeping, thank you. Thank you, very sincerely. We're grateful. As strange as it may sound, being able to gather our relatives together like this, and being responsible for their presence here, makes us feel connected to them, despite them being gone. it's nice. Maybe many of you understand this, too. So, again, thank you, all.

New to genealogy, but not new to cemeteries.

Interests and research areas: cemetery preservation; tombstone restoration and conservation; gravestone studies (symbolism and iconography, geology); graveyard biodiversity and fungal conservation; necrogeography and necroscapes.

Random: We believe vegetables are merely conduits for the delivery of ranch dressing. And, we think bicycles are the "real deal" time machines. Tell us a faster way for any adult to be transported back to yesteryear, to revisit the shear excitement and unmitigated thrills of childhood rides, like street races with friends, dirt road "smoke"-making tire tracks, homemade scrap wood jumps, and brake slamming skids.
