I'm a native of Westchester County where I grew up in the 60s and 70s. For a brief time I lived in Brockport, New York, as well as Mystic, Connecticut, where I was an intern in Mystic Seaport Museum's Museum Studies Program. My BA is in Art History from Manhattanville College, and my MS is in Library Science from LIU, Palmer School. I consider myself mostly a generalist librarian and love the diversity of my profession. But I consider local history one of my subject specialties.
