Find a Grave ID

Bio

Born, raised and living in Calgary. I have always enjoyed going to cemeteries. I first got interested in find a grave while trying to locate an uncle that died in infancy to bury my grandfather's ashes with him.

I'm amazed at all of the work find a grave volunteers have already done that I am able to reap the benefits of.

I'm hoping to be able to continue assisting by creating memorials, suggesting edits, and adding photos and locations wherever I can.

Borrowed from another contributor's bio:

"In each family, there is one who seems called to find the ancestors. To put flesh on their bones and make them live again, to tell the family story and to feel that somehow they know and approve. Doing genealogy is not a cold gathering of facts, but instead, breathing life into all who have gone before. We are the storytellers of the tribe."
