OSIYO- MY NAME in Cherokee is Sawina. I live in Salina Oklahoma. I was born in Nowata. Daughter of Jimmy Dean Jackson & Teresa Lynn Freeman. My parents raised my brother Joshua Dean & me at our home place by Big creek area not far from the Verdigris River, Ok. I enjoy researching our family's roots & history. I have learned so much from my maternal grandfather Charles N Freeman 11.11.1921 who Is one of the greatest men I have ever met. As of writing is grandpa is currently living with my mom still at Big Creek. I try to see him as often as I possibly can. We have shared so many laughs together & even ran across some stories or family photos we both had never heard nor seen. That's the fun part about discovering where you come from, you never know what to expect or who could be waiting just right around the bend to have their story told or their face looked upon for the first time.
