Digging for the Truth

Sometimes old gravestones have additional information that over time has become hidden below the ground. I will sometimes dig down a few inches to uncover the truth.The slate gravestone of my great-great-great grandfather, Benjamin Cooper [1771-1846], was entirely hidden below the soil for over 100 years until soil erosion on the hillside exposed it in 2003.
