Spanish Influenza Pandemic Victims

The Spanish Influenza Pandemic, which oddly enough began in Kansas, devastated the populations of the United States and Europe. The majority of the victims fell to the disease in 1918 and 1919. Philadelphia was hardest hit of American cities and towns. 13,000 of its 2,000,000 population died. Of those 11,000 died in October of 1918.
