Tombaughp. 145-6WHITTENBERGER CEMETERYAn old burial ground, now abandoned, was once on the old Jacob Whittenbergerfarm, also known as Century Farm, more recently known as the Michael Porter farm, and was known as the "Old Whittenberger Cemetery." It was located about two hundred feet northwest of the Akron sewer pumping building, north of SR-14 at the west edge of Akron, Henry Township, Fulton County, Indiana.A part of the old iron fence and one marker are all that remain.
