Located in the Bear Creek Valley area of Roane, County TN. Near the Y12 ORNL Plant, Location: Located on Bear Creek Road North West side of the Road, about 300 feet off to the left if traveling East, 1-1/2 miles east of White Wing Road Road. Latitude / Longitude N35º56.936, W84º18.940This Cemetery was Located On the Farm of James Copeland and his heirs when the Land was taken by the US Government for the Oak Ridge Project during World War 2. This James Copeland born in 1810 is the son of Ambrose Copeland and thought to be buried in this Cemetery however no marker is located for he or his wife. The land and surrounding area was previously owned by Ambrose and several of his sons going back to ~ 1807 or earlier.
