Located in Shelby Ohio, in Northern Richland County. A beautiful, tree filled, old cemetary. It runs along side the Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic cemetary. People not familiar to the area will often confuse the boundaries of where graves are located. Be careful to note which cemetary the gravesite you have photographed is actually located in. Both are worthy of visits. Oakland has a small area by a blockhouse which is the "baby/infant" cemetary. Sad, but a place where many little ones, including one of mine, are peacefully sleeping. My great grandfather William Dick was once the Sexton of the cemetary & worked along side his grandsons digging graves by hand. Many years later, one of those grandsons, William Apger became the Sexton after retiring from the Airforce and returning to Shelby,Ohio to live with his family.
