Grandma Schroder had long red hair. One day she had her hair cut short to have a Christmas gift for Grandpa's watch he carried in his pockert. They made a nice rope with hooks to hook up the watch. Grandpa Schroder Sold his watch to buy his wife a hair comb for her pritty long red hair for a Christmas Gift. I have the watch rope, their was a heart atatched to it with a little dime in the center.. Grandpa Schroder gave me the heart for a conformation gift, I were it for a long time even at our wedding. It know belongs to our grandaughter for her Confermation and she weres it with pride.
