High mass willbe said, early Saturday morning, at St. Leo's church, andthe body will be taken to Ware, for burial, on the 8.26 train.FITCHBURG DAILY SENTINELJanuary 13, 1900 Rev. E. P. Dunphy conducted a high mass of requiem, thismorning, at the funeral of Mrs. Anna Earley, at St. Leo'schurch. A large number were in attendance. The services wereheld early to allow the body to be take to Ware on the 8.26 train, for interment. The bearers were Hugh Earley, Dennis Hurley, John Gillis and John Carey. The following were amongthe floral offerings: Sickle of Ivy from, husband, sheaf ofwheat, Miss Margaret Haley; pillow, inscribed "Mother", from family; sickle of carnations and ferns, Mr. and Mrs. JamesCoburn; basket of lilies, roses and ferns, Mrs. William Hackettand Mrs. Louis N. Bell; crescent of roses, carnations and ferns, Miss Margaret Leahy.WARE RIVER NEWS January 1900 Death of Mrs. Miles Early. Died in Leominster, Mass., Jan. 11, 1900, Ann McBride, wife of Miles Early, aged 67. The funeral took place from 61 Colburn Street to St. Leo�s church at 7.30, Jan. 13,where a requiem mass was celebrated for the repose of her soul and was attended by a large number of friends. After mass the funeral cortege took the 8.26 train for Ware, wherethe interment took place in Notre Dame cemetery. On the arrival of the train at Ware it was met by a large numberof sympathizing friends. Mrs. Early was born in Carlingford, county South, Ireland,1832, and came to Ware in 1849. She was married to Miles Early in Worcester, 1852, and was the mother of seven children, of whom two are dead � Mary Ann, wife of Dennis Hurley of Ware,and Katharine, wife of Patrick McAuliff, Providence, R.I.. Besides her husband she leaves a sister, Mrs. James Morrow of Utica, N.Y. and her children, Hugh of Providence, John F., Leominster, Sister Mary Peter of the Sisters of Providence, Worcester, Martha wife of John J. Gillis, Fitchburg, and Margaret E., president for several years of the ladies� auxiliary of the A. O. H. of Worcester county. The following were among the floral offerings: Sickleof ivy, husband; sheaf of wheat, Miss Margaret E. Early;pillow inscribed �Mother �, from the family; sickle of carnations and ferns; Mr. and Mrs. James Coburn; basket of lilies, roses and ferns, Mrs. William Hackett and Mrs. Louis N. Bell; crescent of roses, carnations and lilies, Miss Margaret Leahy. The bearers were Hugh Early, Dennis Hurley, John Gillisand John Carey. In justice it can be said of the deceased, she was a kind and sympathetic friend, and an affectionate wife and mother.
