Nancy Polley nee' Woodward's mother was most likely Nancy Sophia Frisbe 1810-1852 and her father was Abram T. Woodward 1804-1877. This couple had 11 children. After Abram's first wife died he married Hannah Polley nee' Putney 1823-1920. Hannah was the daughter of Barnard Putney and Betsey Cole and the mother to George H. Polley. George H. Polley married Nancy Woodward. They had three children that died young and then Mable May Robbins nee' Polley, Ben Polley, Corah, and Leo Polley. Confusing but several family members have gone over this and are doing genealogy. We feel this to be as correct as we can make it at this time. I am the grand daughter of Mabel May Robbins.
