Safford and Orrville are unincorporated communities in Dallas County, near Selma Alabama. Azion is a post Antebellum Cemetery of Negro (African American) of the 1900-1960's. It is located near Orrville off Highway 22. It served mostly antebellum and postbellum rural communities of former slave or freed slaves families who which are now replaced by urban centers near larger communities. These families of former slaves and sharecroppers turned the vacant town lots near their community Churches into cemeteries and burial plots, though soon, even this cemeteries and the people moved away and largely disappeared.
