Left his wife Edith and Adult Children to young.at age 63; George Was a Auto & Farm Mechanic with Elder Brother Emmett Curtis till the Depression Hit; & Customers unpaid repair bills sunk that ; George then Built custom Farm implements for Farmers and John Deere Corp. Made major improvements to Potato Grading Equipment like the rudimentary Boggs Machine George made it work properly & grade potato's better with less damaged potato loss by adding waterless potato cleaning with Brushes and compressed air.and other improvement. For his Dairy George Built his own Milking Chilling and Bottling Equipment which they also delivered door to door and to stores Edith Lynn Stevenson Curtis 1893 to 1984 almost age 92 of Hastings, Saint Johns County, FL and Loving Mother, Grandmother, and Teacher of That School district est.. 1925-26 to 1964 age 71 taught children and possibly Great Grand children of students. she also a 18 Taught Bi-lingual Scottish - English & French in Quebec, Canada: Were she was born to a NY state born mother & Canadian Scottish Father. till she Married George W. Curtis of Mooers NY. where Donaldson, Doris & Gladys were born; Robert was the Florida born gift 3 years after they arrived in 1925. sons Donaldson,& Robert George Curtis & Daughters Doris Curtis Lindsay ; Gladys Curtis Baker who have all followed their parents in death as of NOV. 26,2009 Thanksgiving Day that year Robert Curtis followed his Parents; Brother Don , & Sisters Doris & Gladys in Death & new Life; They George & Edith Curtis Children died in order of Their birth I think.
