Obituary Mrs. Martha Elizabeth Keeling, 59, Riverside Drive, East Gadsden, died at a local hospital Thursday at 1:25 a.m. after several weeks illness. Survivors include her husband, Vann B. Keeling; a daughter, Mrs. Charles Wayne Crow, Gadsden; a grandson, Charles Vann Crow, Gadsden; a brother, W.W. Griffin, Gadsden; two nephews, William Griffin, Albany, Ga.; Johnny Berry Keeling, Birmingham; two nieces, Mrs. Sanford Enslen, Springfield, Ill.; Mrs. Ella Jane Smith, Gadsden.Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Collier-Butler Chapel with Dr. T.A. Edgar and Dr. Calvin Pinkard officiating.Burial will follow in Crestwood Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Larry Elam, Douglas Clemons, Lamar Keeling, Edgar Joe Keeling, J.W. Boyd, Edgar Keeling, W.E. Hagan, George B. White Jr., James Putman. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. J.O. Morgan, Dr. Orville Morgan and all personal friends. Mrs. Keeling was a native of Atlanta, Ga., and was a resident of Gadsden since 1929. She was a member of First Methodist Church and Berean Sunday School Class. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Lurleen B. Wallace Cancer Fund. The body will remain at Collier-Butler Parlors through the hour of service.
