Willie A. Lyons was born June 13, 1873 and died on May 23, 1883 the son of John Patrick and Susan T. Lyons. We do not know the cause of your death, but probably a common illness which took so many little ones of your age. And why you body was not moved to Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery where your parents, your brother, Luther E. Lyons, your sister, Audrey Belle Lyons, your great-nephew, J.C. Lyons, and your great-niece, Lizzie Lee Lyons Webb are all buried, we do not know. Perhaps it was too cost prohibitive. But the reality of it all, is you are ALREADY united with them in Heaven. The remainder of your family awaits to meet you someday in Heaven. You will be a Great-Uncle or a Great-Great Uncle to many of us, but we still look forward to that glorious day when we shall all be in the presence of Jesus Christ, and can enjoy eternity with one another forever!
