Direct Ancestors

I am a direct descendant of the following people I've found via Find A Grave. If not for this site, I doubt I would have been able to locate many of these family members. With each of these persons I've found comes a big Thank You to Find A Grave members who have entered them on this site and relatives, both living and dead, who shared a wealth of information with my mother between the 1960's and 1980's. My mother spent over 20 years attempting to locate many of these persons without the luck I've had in just five years, thanks to the computer age! I used to watch my mom, late at night, typing letters (w/carbons!) to people and institutions (i.e., libraries, churches) throughout the U.S. and Great Britain, seeking information regarding our ancestors. In @1998, she came to my house one night with 2 boxes full of all of her research and told me it was my "turn" to carry on. Due to migraine issues, I didn't begin until 2010 and wish I'd started earlier. It is a Labor of Love.
