Mother's relatives.My mother was born Nancy Lee Watters on December 10,1944 to E.J. Watters ,Jr. and his first wife Mary Elizabeth Thomas.She was their second daughter.Her younger brother Liles(June 12,1947-April 11,1970) was the only boy from this union.My grandparents divorced in 1950.The second wife,Virginia June Willix had only one child with E.J.,a daughter born in 1953.They were not good grandparents to me and did not act like Christians to me,snubbing me often when I was still a teen.She ran her stepchildren off as soon as she could.June wasn't a good stepmother to the three kids from the first marriage.I knew Edna L. Watters,my great-grandmother and she never had anything positive or good to say about June.Edna died when I was 23.The plaque is wrong.Some Navy info is incorrect.
