B-24 Crew - 21 Apr 1944

21 Apr 1944 a B-24 Liberator flown by Pilot Paul Benson and Co-pilot Warren Tamms crashed near Brod, Yugoslavia while on a bombing mission. Two crew members, including Benson, were killed. The other 8 crew survived and were taken as prisoners of war in Stalag Luft III. Near the end of the war they were moved, and then released.
