re: James PeltonJames Pelton burial site has been linked to James Pelton, husband of Lourania Holcomb. I believe this James Pelton is actually the son of William Marion Pelton and Hannah Anjaline Lindsey, husband of Martha Ann Praytor. Martha Ann Praytor Pelton is also buried in this cemetery. Her James Pelton died before the 1920 Saline County, AR census. He was born 6 Feb 1854 in AR.Lourania Holcomb and her husband moved to Texas in the early 1850's - they are my 2nd. great grandparents. I don't have a date or place of death/burial for my James Pelton but he was born about 1822 in Lawrence County, AR. William Marion Pelton and my James Pelton were first cousins. My James named one of his sons William Marion to further complicate things ;).
