Jerome W. Morse (1930 - March 2017), "Uncle Jerry", the husband of my only real blood aunt, my father's sister Florence. She had his three sons (Richard, an obstetrician, Steven, a civil servant, and Robert, a teacher), and they have many grandchildren. Jerry was a highly successful optician in Allentown, PA, for many years, and Florence was his financial helper (accountant, etc.), but they divorced in the 1990s. Florence died in 2001. She is not buried in the same cemetery but in another one in Pennsylvania. Jerry had a second wife named Ellie. She was a widow with sons, and when she died in 2014 her children insisted she be buried with her first husband in New Jersey. That grave site (they said) had no space for Jerry. My Uncle Jerry was a soft spoken, gentle and good man.
