I am the great-niece of Levi Lane Berry, son of Henry Columbus Berry and his wife, Mary Elizabeth Fisher Berry. Please note that "Lane" was his middle name, named after Bishop Lane of the Colored Methodist Episcopal Church (CME) of which the Berry family was affiliated.
